17 agosto The New Conservatives are selling us out again.Obama is becoming a sell-out.
News has report that the administration may be willing to scrap the public option from reform plan. Now, the details and direction of the public option is not perfect - like more preventive care and health promotion than giving more business to big pharmacutical and such. And we can discuss the concern on how to pay for everything. But to scrap it off, and because of right wing nuts' pressure, is just going to show you that we no longer have any real progressive/liberal party in this country. The Dems already has become largely a centrist party, at best, during the 90's; and now they're the "New Conservatives" and a wussy one at that. They said the they will now promote the idea of non-profit local co-op's instead. Yeah right, even with federal money support, co-ops is not going to have the infrasture to give real competition to the private health insurance companies, in order to drive cost down.
Well good news nuts, I guess you will be able to get "your country" back if this turns out that way after all. As always, give lies enough time and it will become the true. America is becoming dumber and more selfish by the second.
My blog haven't been political in a long time, from which I normally try hard to stay away. 14 giugno Finally! finally a place to sleep...After 3 long weeks, I finally signed a lease for a new place. If you want to know, the new place is just one block away from the Pacific Ocean. There is a beach there. But since it's SF, there is still cloudy days on the beach. The place is a brand new in-law unit with 2 full bath, a pretty big kitchen, 2 bedrooms. It's not bad consider the price and the fact we finally find it after looking a 3-5 places per day for the last 3 weeks. I'm tired, so tired. Not to mention that 2days before I sign on to this place, I actually signed with another place already. BUT they broke the contract and won't rent. %*%^)() I know I can suit their sorry behind... but oh well and finding a place is much more urgent. Thank goodness, I find one. Speaking about the size and prettiness, this is the 3rd for size and second for condition and prettiness. The only major drawback is that the ocean wind and moisture will be a health problem for my parent.
I'm moving 7/2nd since that's lucky date according to the lunar calendar haha. There is much packing setting new account etc to do. Busy time ahead. |
